1UR-FSE COOLING: RADIATOR (for AWD): REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

7. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

(a) Remove the 4 clips and duct seal.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Service and Repair

10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

11. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH

12. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH Removal

13. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal

14. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Removal

15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal

16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Removal

17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT Removal

18. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY Removal

19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Remove the radiator hose.

20. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Remove the radiator hose.

21. DISCONNECT INLET OIL COOLER HOSE

22. DISCONNECT OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE

23. REMOVE OUTLET ENGINE ROOM ECU DUCT Removal

24. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

(c) Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the ECU connector.

25. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts and sensor.

26. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Remove the 3 screws.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the cover.

27. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal

28. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 2 clamps.

(b) Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

29. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

30. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A Removal

31. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the radiator from the crossmember.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts.

(c) Detach the claw and remove the fan shroud with fan and motor from the radiator.

32. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and separate the condenser from the radiator.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the core of the A/C condenser.

33. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 cushions.

34. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Remove the 2 supports.
