Component Group 1 - Left Side Of Passenger Compartment






1 Rear A/C Display Control Head (E265)

Only in the Comfort version.

Different versions, refer to Electronic Parts Catalog.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear A/C Display Control Head (E265) ] Rear A/C Display Control Head (E265).

Child safety locks are currently not provided (introduction not yet finalized).

If child safety locks are to be provided at a later time and if they are active in the vehicle, the rear A/C system and seat heating setting cannot be changed. Refer to Owner's manual.

2 Rear Vent (With Position Sensor In Left Rear Upper Body Vent (G630) / Position Sensor In Right Rear Upper Body Vent (G631) )

In the center console.

In the Comfort version with Position sensor in left rear upper body vent, Position sensor in right rear upper body vent. Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

After replacement of the rear vent, adapt the Climatronic control module (J255) , and the Rear A/C display control head (E265) in order to adapt the end positions at the position sensor using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

3 Rear Temperature Selection Potentiometer (G538)

Versions for specific countries.

Only in the Basic version.

Shared component with trim, cannot be replaced individually.

Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function

Removing and installing.

4 Left Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch (E128)

Only in the Basic version.

The switch is not OBD-capable. However, seat heating actuation only occurs when the Vehicle electrical system control module (J519) provides the corresponding release. Refer to and Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function, Vehicle electrical system control module.

5 Right Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch (E129)

Only in the Basic version.

The switch is not OBD-capable. However, seat heating actuation only occurs when the Vehicle electrical system control module (J519) provides the corresponding release. Refer to and Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function, Vehicle electrical system control module.

6 Rear Seat Bench

Depending on the equipment with seat heating, in the case of Comfort A/C system with seat heating/seat ventilation.

Seat heating is set depending on the A/C system version via the switches of the rear seat heating element or the Rear A/C display control head (E265). Check actuation in "read measured values" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function, Vehicle electrical system control module in the Basic version, A/C system in the Comfort version.

Seat heating is activated via various control modules. Refer to and the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

7 Left B-Pillar Vent

Only in the Comfort version.

8 Left Rear Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor (G637)

Only in the Comfort version.

Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

9 Right Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor (G636)

In the air guide channel for the rear vents.

Only in the Comfort version.

Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

10 Left Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor (G635)

In the air guide channel for the rear vents.

Only in the Comfort version.

Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

1 Right Rear Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor (G638)

Only in the Comfort version.

Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

2 Air Ionization System Control Module (J897)

Only in the Comfort version.

3 Ionizer

Shared component with the Air ionization system control module (J897).

4 Right B-Pillar Vent

Only in the Comfort version.

5 Air Ionization System Button (E677)

Versions for specific countries.

Only in the Comfort version.

6 Rear Seat Bench

Depending on the equipment with seat heating, in the case of Comfort A/C system with seat heating/seat ventilation.
