Rear A/C Display Control Head (E265)

- If the rear A/C display control head is replaced, select "Replace control module" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Removal






- Remove the rear cover for the center console.

- Release the retaining tabs - arrows - on the left and right.

- Press the control head - 2 - out of the rear cover - 1 -.

Installation

Installation is done in reverse order, observe the following:

- When replacing a rear A/C display control head (E265) , pay attention to the exact allocation. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

- Install the rear cover for the center console.

After replacing/installing the rear A/C display control head, perform the following work using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

- Perform coding or check the coding.

- Perform the basic setting.

- Read out the event memory (and eliminate the cause of an displayed entries).

- Check the adaptation.

- Perform the output diagnostic test mode if necessary.
