Hydraulics Overview






1 Brake Fluid Reservoir

2 Spring-Type Clamp

• Not equipped on all vehicles

3 Supply Hose

• Made out of rubber or plastic, depending on the model

• Supply hose made of plastic with extra seals

4 Clutch Master Cylinder

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Master Cylinder ] Service and Repair

5 Clip

• To remove and install the hose/line assembly, pull the clip out to the stop

6 Sealing Ring or O-ring

• Replace damaged O-rings

• Pull onto line connection

• Install with brake fluid

• Seals/O-rings suitable for the line connection material

• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog

7 Mounting Clip

• To remove and install master cylinder, separate from clutch pedal, refer to => [ Clutch Pedal ] Clutch Pedal

8 Clutch Pedal

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Pedal ] Clutch Pedal

9 Nut

• For the bracket on the bulkhead

• Tightening specification - item 15 - => [ (Item 15) Nut ] Pedal Assembly and Clutch Master Cylinder Overview

10 Hose/Line Assembly

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Hose/Line Assembly or Plastic Hose ] Service and Repair

• Equipment depends on version

• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog

11 Bracket

• For hose/line assembly - item 10 - => [ (Item 10) Hose/Line Assembly ]

• Secured to body

• Bracket differentiation

12 Plastic Hose

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Hose/Line Assembly or Plastic Hose ] Service and Repair

• Equipment depends on version

• Allocation, refer to refer to the Parts Catalog

13 Bracket

• For plastic hose - item 12 - => [ (Item 12) Plastic Hose ]

• Secured to body

• Bracket differentiation

14 Seal or O-ring

• Replace damaged O-rings

• Pull onto line connection

• Install with brake fluid

• Seals/O-rings suitable for the line connection material

• Allocation, refer to the Parts Catalog

15 Bleeder

16 Clip

• To remove and install hose/line assembly or bleeder, pull out clip until stop

17 Vent Screw

• 4.5 Nm

• Clutch system, bleeding, refer to => [ Clutch System, Bleeding ] Service and Repair

18 Dust Cap

19 Clutch Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing

• Can only be replaced when transmission is removed

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing ] Service and Repair

20 Transmission

O-ring or Seal for Either the Hose/Line Assembly or the Plastic Hose





1 O-ring

• Line connection with circumferential groove - arrow 1 -

2 Oil seal

• Line connection with shoulder - arrow 2 -

Vehicle with a Plastic Supply Hose - 1 -





• Seals - 2 - must be located in supply hose.
