24. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the L9 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

25. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER LH)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the L9 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

26. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

27. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

(a) Remove the telematics transceiver Removal.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

28. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector

(b) Disconnect the L111 telematics transceiver connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

29. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH)

(a) Disconnect the L111 telematics transceiver connector.

(b) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

30. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

31. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the N12*1 and/or N4*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

*2: for RH

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

32. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R36 stereo component amplifier connector.

(b) Disconnect the N12*1 and/or N4*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(b) Disconnect the Q8*1 and/or Q3*2 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

35. INSPECT REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily replace the rear No. 3 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one.

(b) Check that the speaker sounds normally.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

(b) Disconnect the S18*1 and/or R18*2 rear header speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
