Removal





CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER): REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
* When replacing the DCM (telematics transceiver), perform the vehicle contract setting DCM Activation.
* The safety connect device uses the DCM (telematics transceiver) to provide access to the network service.
* The telematics transceiver has a DCM ID (described on the label attached to the DCM (telematics transceiver)).

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL Removal

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING Removal

10. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET

(a) Remove the 3 bolts.





(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the DCM (telematics transceiver).

12. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 telephone bracket.





13. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Remove the screw and No. 2 telephone bracket.
