Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal

6. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal

7. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler) Removal

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Removal

13. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

(a) Disconnect the connectors.

(b) Remove the 4 nuts and amplifier with bracket.





14. REMOVE NO. 1 AMPLIFIER BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 AMPLIFIER BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
