Always follow these instructions before and during work.





1 5 Nm

2 Mount

• For charge air cooler

3 Charge Air Cooler

• To remove, move lock carrier into service position.

4 Connecting Hose

• "Cold" side, bottom

• Ensure seated tightly

• Replace gasket if it is damaged or if it leaks.

• Disassembling and assembling, refer to --> [ Coupling between Charge Air Cooler and Connecting Hose ] Coupling between Charge Air Cooler and Connecting Hose.

5 Screw clamp, 5 Nm

6 To Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

• --> [ 9 ] Intake Manifold With Attachments Assembly Overview

7 Connecting Hose

• Cold side, top

• Ensure seated tightly

8 Charge Air Pressure Sensor (G31)

• With intake air temperature sensor (G42)

9 3 Nm

10 Rubber Grommet

• Replace if damaged

11 8 Nm

12 Charge Air Pipe

• Cold side

13 Connecting Hose

• Hot side, top

• Ensure seated tightly

14 From Pulsation Damper on Turbocharger

15 Charge Air Pipe

• Hot side

16 Connecting Hose

• Hot side, bottom

• Ensure seated tightly

• Replace gasket if it is damaged or if it leaks.

• Disassembling and assembling, refer to --> [ Coupling between Charge Air Cooler and Connecting Hose ] Coupling between Charge Air Cooler and Connecting Hose.
