Vibration Damper

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Retainer (3036)

• Locking Pin (T10060 A)

Removing






- Remove the compressor ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Supercharger Ribbed Belt ] Supercharger Ribbed Belt.

- To release the tension on the ribbed belt, swivel the tensioner clockwise - arrow - and then lock the tensioner using a (T10060 A).

- Counter hold with the (3036) and remove the bolts - 1 - vibration damper.






- Remove the bolts and remove the vibration damper.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Auxiliary Component Bracket Ribbed Belt Drive Overview ] Auxiliary Component Bracket Ribbed Belt Drive Overview.

• Replace bolts that are tightened to specification.

• Installation is only possible in one position because of the offset holes.

- Be careful of the alignment sleeve when installing the vibration damper.

- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] Ribbed Belt.
