PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE CABLE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly onto the backing plate with the bolt.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Install the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly onto the backing plate with the bolt.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(b) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL REAR BRAKE SHOE KIT Reassembly

4. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM

5. ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE Installation

6. INSTALL REAR WHEELS

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

7. INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the cable ends of the No. 2 and No. 3 parking cable assemblies to the No. 1 parking cable assembly.

8. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CABLE COVER

(a) Insert the 2 guides.

(b) Using the 2 clips, install the parking brake cable cover.

(c) Engage the 2 hooks of the floor carpet and place the floor carpet in its original position.

(d) Install the floor carpet with the clip.

11. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY RH Installation

14. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY LH Installation

15. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER RH Installation

16. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER LH Installation

17. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER Installation

18. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation

19. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Installation

20. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation
