INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK AUDIO MODELS

(a) Check the audio model.

2. CHECK SPEAKER

(a) Check which speakers are malfunctioning.

C -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

3. CHECK FRONT SIDE SPEAKER

(a) Check which speakers are malfunctioning.

B -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

C -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

D -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
A -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the M1 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the M1 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

6. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the L9 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER LH)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the L9 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

8. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

B -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH)

C -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH Removal
A -- Continue to next step.

9. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

(a) Remove the telematics transceiver Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector

(b) Disconnect the L111 telematics transceiver connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH)

(a) Disconnect the L111 telematics transceiver connector.

(b) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

12. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

13. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the N12*1 and/or N4*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.





*1: for LH

*2: for RH

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

14. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R36 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the N12*1 and/or N4*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

*1: for LH

*2: for RH

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for LH
for RH

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

15. CHECK REAR SIDE SPEAKER

(a) Check which speakers are malfunctioning.

16. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the O21*1 and/or O10*2 rear No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

*2: for RH

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

17. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R36 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the O21*1 and/or O10*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

*1: for LH

*2: for RH

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

18. INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the R20 stereo component speaker assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

19. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the R20 stereo component speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

20. CHECK SPEAKER

(a) Check which speakers are malfunctioning.

21. CHECK FRONT SIDE SPEAKER

(a) Check which speakers are malfunctioning.

C -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

D -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
A -- Continue to next step.

22. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the M1 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

23. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the M1 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
