INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Disconnect the R39 and R36 stereo component amplifier assembly connectors.

(b) Clear the DTCs.

(c) Check if DTC B15C3 is output.

OK:

DTC B15C3 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Clear the DTCs.

(c) Check if DTC B15C3 is output.

OK:

DTC B15C3 is not output.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - SPEAKER)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER, SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R39 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the L9 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

(c) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(d) Disconnect the M1 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

(e) Disconnect the R20 stereo component speaker assembly connector.

(f) Disconnect the L111* telematics transceiver connector.

*: w/ Safety Connect System

(g) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

*2: w/o Safety Connect System

B -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

C -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
A -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the L111 telematics transceiver connector.

(b) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

(a) Remove the telematics transceiver Speaker Circuit.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

6. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the L9 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

7. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the L84 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

8. INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the R20 stereo component speaker assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

9. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the M1 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal

10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the R36 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the N12 front No. 1 speaker assembly LH connector.

(c) Disconnect the N4 front No. 1 speaker assembly RH connector.

(d) Disconnect the O21 rear No. 1 speaker assembly LH connector.

(e) Disconnect the O10 rear No. 1 speaker assembly RH connector.

(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

11. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the N12 front No. 1 speaker assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

12. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the N4 front No. 1 speaker assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

13. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the O21 rear No. 1 speaker assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

B -- REPLACE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

C -- REPLACE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

14. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the O10 rear No. 1 speaker assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
