Intercooler: Description and Operation

Charge Air System

• Charge air system must be properly sealed.

• The various charge air system hose connections are secured with screw clamps, spring clamps, connector couplings or spring rings. Follow the connector assembly guidelines when assembling. • Only tighten the screw clamps by hand. It is not necessary to use a screwdriver.

• Pliers for spring clamps (VAS 6362) or hose clamp pliers (VAS 6340) are recommended for installing spring clamps.
