RADIATOR

Removal and Installation












WARNING:
Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Serious burns could occur from high pressure coolant escaping from the radiator. Wrap a thick cloth around the cap. Slowly turn it a quarter turn to allow built-up pressure to escape. Carefully remove the cap by turning it all the way.
NOTE:
When removing components such as hoses, tubes/lines, etc., cap or plug openings to prevent fluid from spilling.

REMOVAL

1.Drain engine coolant from the radiator. Service and Repair.
2.Remove front bumper fascia (Coupe only). Coupe.
3.Remove engine undercover (Sedan only). Sedan.
4.Remove front grille (Sedan only). Sedan.
5.Remove front air duct. Service and Repair.
6.Remove battery tray (CVT models). Removal And Installation Coupe (Coupe models) or Removal And Installation Sedan (Sedan models).
7.Remove A/C condenser. Service and Repair.
8.Disconnect reservoir hose from radiator hose (upper) connector.
9.Disconnect radiator hose (upper) and (lower).
10.Disconnect the CVT oil cooler hoses (if equipped).
11.Remove radiator.

CAUTION:
- Do not damage or scratch the radiator core when removing.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
