Removal





SUSPENSION CONTROL: HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR: REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Suspension Control System.

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
w/ Navigation System (for HDD):

After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH

9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH Removal

13. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH Removal

14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal

15. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH

16. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Partially remove the fender liner.

HINT
It is not necessary to fully remove the fender liner. Partially remove it so that the compressor can be removed.

17. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 2 clamps.





(b) Disconnect the height control filter from the front bumper reinforcement.

(c) Disconnect the height control tube Suspension Control System.

(d) Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and height control compressor with bracket.





(e) Detach the 3 clamps.

(f) Detach the connector's claw and remove the connector from the bracket.

(g) Remove the 3 bolts, 3 bushings and bracket from the compressor.
