Removal





SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seat cushion Removal.

(b) for Ottoman:

Remove the rear seat cushion Removal.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seat cushion Removal.

(b) for Ottoman:

Remove the rear seat cushion Removal.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type) Removal

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH Removal

11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH Removal

12. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor anchor.

13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedures described for the LH side

14. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER





(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the nut and anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly.





(b) for Fixed Seat Type:

Remove the nut and anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seatback Removal.

(b) for Ottoman:

Remove the rear seatback Removal.

16. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

(a) for Power Seat:

Remove the rear seatback Removal.

(b) for Ottoman:

Remove the rear seatback Removal.

17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type) Removal

18. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade) Removal

19. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade)





(a) Except 4-Passenger with Ottoman:

Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 3 belt guides.





(1) Disengage the 2 clips and raise the front portion of the package tray trim panel assembly.

(2) Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.

(3) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the package tray trim panel assembly.

(b) for 4-Passenger with Ottoman:





Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 belt guides.





(1) Disengage the 2 clips and raise the front portion of the package tray trim panel assembly.

(2) Pass the 2 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.

(3) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the package tray trim panel assembly.

20. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT LH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

21. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT RH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

22. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR DUCT REAR (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

23. REMOVE NO. 5 AIR DUCT REAR (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

24. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.





(b) Remove the bolt and seat belt.

25. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.





(b) Remove the bolt and seat belt.

26. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and rear seat outer belt assembly center.
