Removal





INTERIOR: REAR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for 5-Passenger with Ottoman)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman)

(a) Remove the rear seat assembly Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH Removal

12. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH Removal

13. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY





(a) except 4-Passenger with Ottoman:

(1) Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 3 belt guides.

(b) for 4-Passenger with Ottoman:

(1) Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 belt guides.





(c) except 4-Passenger with Ottoman:

(1) Detach the 2 clips of the package tray trim panel. Then pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel.





(d) for 4-Passenger with Ottoman:

(1) Detach the 2 clips of the package tray trim panel. Then pass the 2 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel.

(e) w/o Rear Cooler:

(1) Remove the package tray trim panel.

(f) w/ Rear Cooler:

(1) Disconnect the solar sensor connector and remove the package tray trim panel.

14. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT LH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

15. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT RH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

16. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

17. REMOVE REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

18. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal

19. REMOVE NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the 5 claws and 3 clips, and remove the No. 2 package tray trim panel.

20. REMOVE REAR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 4 bolts.

(b) Loosen the bolt labeled A and remove the rear sunshade.

NOTICE:
Do not remove the bolt labeled A from the rear sunshade.
