Removal

1UR-FSE COOLING: WATER PUMP: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Service and Repair

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Removal

9. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal

10. DISCONNECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE (for 2WD)

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the dipstick guide.





11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

12. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.





13. DISCONNECT WATER INLET HOSE

(a) Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the water inlet hose.





14. DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose.





15. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING

(a) Remove the 3 bolts, water inlet housing and gasket.





16. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY

(a) Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

17. REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 9 bolts, water pump and gasket.
