With conditions as in C8, measure the resistance between PI0042/001 & EM011/013. C8: Check Harness Continuity - Signal (Pedal Demand)

Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?

Yes
Go to C10 C10: Harness Short to Screen

No
Inspect PI042, EM011, & PI001 for bent/pushed back pins or locate & repair the harness & test the system for normal operation.
