C8: Check Harness Continuity - Signal (Pedal Demand)

With EM011 & PI042 disconnected, measure the resistance between, in turn
PI042/003 & EM011/015
PI042/005 & EM011/016

Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?

Yes
Go to C9 C9: Check Harness Continuity - Signal (Mechanical Guard)

No
Inspect PI042, EM011, & PI001 for bent/pushed back pins or locate & repair the harness & test the system for normal operation
