Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Remove rear seatback and rear seat cushion. Removal and Installation.
2. Remove rear kicking plate inner (LH and RH). Kicking Plate Inner.
3. Remove rear wheelhouse garnish (LH and RH). Rear Wheel House Garnish.
4. Remove rear pillar finisher (LH and RH). Rear Pillar Finisher.
5. Disengage seat belt finisher fixing pawls with a remover tool (A), and then remove seat belt finisher.
6. Disconnect high-mounted stop lamp harness connector (A).
7. Remove clip (A). Disengage fixing clip on the back side of rear parcel shelf finisher.
8. Disengage rear parcel shelf finisher fixing dual lock fastener (B) with a remover tool (A). (with rear sunshade)
9. Remove rear seat belt floor anchor and pass it through rear parcel shelf finisher.
Remove rear seat belt floor anchor bolts. Removal And Installation.
10. Pull rear parcel shelf finisher toward vehicle front without interfering with child anchor, and then remove rear parcel shelf finisher.
11. Remove the following parts after removing the rear parcel shelf finisher.
- Remove woofer grille.
- Remove intake grille.
- Remove rear speaker grille.
CAUTION:
Replace rear speaker grille fixing push on nut with a new parts after removal. Never reuse rear speaker grille fixing push on nut.
INSTALLATION
Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Check that clips are securely fitted in panel holes on body when installing, and then press them in.
- Check the following after installation.
- From inside passenger room, check that black print on rear window glass is visible.
- From outside passenger room, check that there is a clearance between rear window glass and high mounted stop lamp cover of approximately 5.0 mm (0.197 in).
- From rear sunshade opening, check for engagement of pawls (models with sunshade).
