KICKING PLATE INNER : Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
- When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic.
- Never damage the body.

REMOVAL

FRONT KICKING PLATE INNER
1. Pull front kicking plate toward vehicle inside and disengage pawl on area (A) as shown in the figure.
2. Using a remover tool (D), disengage clip and pawls on area (B) as shown in the figure.

CAUTION:
Apply protective tape (E) on the parts to protect it from damage.
3. Pull front kicking plate inner toward vehicle rear, disengage clip on area (C) as shown in the figure, and then remove front kicking plate inner.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage center pillar lower garnish when pulling front kicking plate toward vehicle rear.










REAR KICKING PLATE INNER
1. Remove rear seat cushion. Removal and Installation.
2. Using a remover tool (D), disengage pawl on area (A) as shown in the figure.

CAUTION:
Apply protective tape (E) on the parts to protect it from damage.
3. Lift up rear kicking plate inner toward vehicle upper and disengage clip and pawls on area (B) as shown in the figure.
4. Lift up rear kicking plate inner toward vehicle upper while pulling it toward vehicle inner, disengage pawls located on area (C) as shown in the figure, and then remove rear kicking plate inner.












INSTALLATION
Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Check that watertight packing is attached to clip.
- When installing, check that all clips and pawls are securely fitted in panel holes on body, and then press clips and pawls in.
