BODY SIDE TRIM
REAR PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
- When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic.
- Never damage the body.
REMOVAL
1. Remove rear seat cushion and rear seatback. Removal and Installation.
2. Remove rear kicking plate inner. Kicking Plate Inner.
3. Remove rear body side welt from rear pillar finisher side. Body Side Welt.
4. Remove rear wheel house garnish. Rear Wheel House Garnish.
5. Remove rear seat belt retractor anchor bolt (LH and RH). Removal And Installation.
6. Insert a remover tool between rear pillar finisher and body side panel to disengage the clips, pawls, and metal clips.
NOTE:
Remove according to the steps indicated in the figure to avoid damaging the rear pillar finisher.
Circle: Clip
Triangle: Pawl
Square: Metal Clip
INSTALLATION
Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Check that clips, pawls, and metal clips are securely fitted in panel holes on body when installing, and then press clips, pawls, and metal clips in.
- When installing, check that pawl of rear pillar finisher (1) is engaged to rear parcel shelf finisher (2).
