Diagnostic Overview
An Exterior Mirror LED Is Constantly On and An IPC Message Is Present
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
REFER to Exterior Mirror Indication .
Pinpoint Test
1. VERIFY THE SOD-L (Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left) AND SOD-R (Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Right) PASS THE NETWORK TEST
1. Using a scan tool, perform a network test.
Do the SOD-L (Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left) and SOD-R (Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Right) pass the network test?
2. CHECK FOR VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL OR PRNDL RELATED DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
1. Using a scan tool, perform the BCM (Body Control Module) self-test.
2. Check for DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) in the BCM (Body Control Module).
Are any vehicle speed or PRNDL related DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) present?
3. CHECK FOR PAM (Parking Aid Module) DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
1. Using a scan tool, perform the PAM (Parking Aid Module) self-test.
Are DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) present?
