DR-1P Checking Computer Ground Circuits

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect module connectors.
2. Connect one lead of a digital ohmmeter to the system ground eyelet at the fuel rail, then probe cavity 24 of blue connector and cavities 7 and 8 of red connector.
3. If ohmmeter shows less than 1/2 ohm resistance at all three cavities, proceed to Test 15 if a cold problem or Test 18 if a warm problem.

4. If ohmmeter does not show continuity at one or more of cavities, locate and repair open circuit in wire to wiring harness connector.
5. If ohmmeter shows more than 1/2 ohm resistance at one or more of cavities, repair circuit for high resistance.
