Radiator Overview






Radiator Overview

Risk of injury from coolant fan starting by itself.

Before working in fan shroud area, disconnect electrical connectors.

Radiator and Front Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator






1 Air Duct

2 Coolant Hose

Lift the retaining clamp to remove

Connect to the radiator, refer to => [ Connect the Coolant Hose to the Coupling ]

3 O-ring

Replace

4 Radiator

Removing and installing with the fan shroud, refer to => [ Radiator and Fan Shroud ] Radiator and Fan Shroud

After replacing, replace all the coolant.

5 O-ring

Replace

6 Coolant Hose

Lift the retaining clamp to remove

Connect to the radiator, refer to => [ Connect the Coolant Hose to the Coupling ]

7 Coolant Hose

Lift the retaining clamp to remove

Connect to the radiator, refer to => [ Connect the Coolant Hose to the Coupling ]

8 O-ring

Replace

9 Rubber Bushing

For radiator

10 Retaining Pin

Disengage and remove using screwdriver

11 Air Duct

12 Coolant Hose

13 Bolt

4.5 Nm

14 Condenser

15 Front Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator ] Front Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator

16 Coolant Hose

17 Air Duct

18 Rubber Bushing

For radiator

19 Radiator Bracket

20 Bolt

5 Nm

21 Rubber Buffer

22 Bolt

4.5 Nm

23 O-ring

Replace

24 Coolant Hose

Lift the retaining clamp to remove

Connect to the radiator, refer to => [ Connect the Coolant Hose to the Coupling ]

Left Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator






1 Air Duct

2 Bolt

9 Nm

3 Washer

4 Rubber Bushing

For radiator

5 Nut

9 Nm

6 Bolt

22 Nm

7 Bracket

8 Nut

22 Nm

9 Rubber Bushing

For radiator

10 Charge Air Coolant Pump (V188)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Charge Air Cooling Pump (V188) ] Service and Repair

11 Coolant Hose

13 Nut

9 Nm

For the charge air cooling pump

For the charge air cooling pump

16 Coolant Hoses

17 Left Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Left Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator ] Left Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator

Connect the Coolant Hose to the Coupling





- Remove the old O-ring - 2 - in the coolant hose - 3 -.

- Coat new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

- Press the coolant hose onto the connection - 1 - until it engages audibly.

- Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
