Seat Cushion Fan Bracket V390/V391

Removing

• Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic, Electrical and Mechanical Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and Testing Procedures ] Testing and Inspection.

• Before handling pyrotechnical components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling them must "discharge static electricity". For example, by briefly touching the door striker pin.

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat ] Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat.

- Attach front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136). Refer to => [ Installing Front Seat on Fixture for Seat Repair VAS 6136 ] Installing Front Seat on Fixture For Seat Repair VAS 6136.

- Remove backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest ] Backrest.

- Remove the upholstery at the side and rear of the seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Cover with Seat Cushion for Multi-contour Seat ] Seat Cover With Seat Cushion For Multi-Contour Seat.

- Remove the seat cushion fan. Refer to => [ Seat Cushion Blower Fan V390/V391 ] Seat Cushion Blower Fan V390/V391.






- Remove the bolts - 1 -, - 2 - and the fan grille - 3 -.

- Release the retainer - arrow A -.






- Move the bracket - 1 - downward - arrow B -, disengage is from the lower seat frame and remove it.

Installation

• Before handling pyrotechnical components (for example, connecting electrical connector), the person handling them must "discharge static electricity". For example, by briefly touching the door striker pin.

• Observe all measures when installing the front seat. Refer to => [ Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat ] Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat.
