Backrest with Pass-Through

Removing

- Remove the seat bench. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Divided Backrest ] Divided Backrest.

- Remove the headrests. Refer to => [ Headrest ] Headrest.

Right 2/3 section of backrest with pass-through:

- Remove the center armrest with the pass-through cover. Refer to => [ Center Armrest, Pass-Through ] Center Armrest, Pass-Through.

- Remove the cover frame. Refer to => [ Cover Frame ] Cover Frame.

- Remove the rear center belt guide. Refer to => [ Center Rear Belt Guide, with Foldable Rear Seat Backrest ] Center Rear Belt Guide, With Foldable Rear Seat Backrest.

Continuation for left and right rear seat backrest:






- Remove the retainer trim. Refer to => [ Lock Trim, with Lock Cylinder ] Lock Trim, With Lock Cylinder.

- Remove headrest guides. Refer to => [ Headrest Guide ] Headrest Guide.

- Unclip the plugs - 2 -.

1 Cover
3 Inner bracket

- Pry the upper retaining channel - 1 - out of the backrest shell - 3 -.






- Remove the molding - 2 - from the sides and bottom of the backrest shell - 3 -.

Right 2/3 section of backrest with pass-through:






- Pry off the piping - 1 - and - 3 - in the backrest pass-through - 2 -.

Continuation for left and right rear seat backrest:

- Pry the cover over the inner bracket.

- Pry the cover over the outer bracket.

- Remove the cover with upholstery from the backrest shell.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install headrest guide with button at left.

- Make sure the button - 2 - moves easily after installing the trim - 1 -.
