Headrest Guide

Removing

- Remove the headrests. Refer to => [ Headrest ] Headrest.

- Remove the cover with upholstery from the backrest shell. Refer to:

• => [ Backrest with Pass-Through ] Backrest With Pass-Through.

• => [ Backrest with Cover or Storage Compartment ] Backrest With Cover or Storage Compartment.

• => [ Fixed Rear Seat Backrest ] Fixed Rear Seat Backrest.

- Fold the cover with upholstery - 1 - up until the headrest tube - 2 - welded into the backrest shell - 3 - with the headrest guide - 4 - is visible.






- Press the retaining tab - arrow A - down until the headrest guide is no longer locked.

• Ignore - arrow B -.

- Pull the head restraint guide upward and out of the head restraint tube.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Slide the headrest guide - 4 - into the headrest tube - 2 - until the retaining tab - arrow A - engages in the window - arrow B -.

- Before continuing the installation of the upholstery and cover, make sure both headrest guides are engaged and cannot be pulled out.
