Clutch Release Mechanism and Clutch Slave Cylinder Overview






1 Transmission

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission, Removing ] Transmission, Removing

2 Input Shaft Seal

• Replace, refer to => [ Input Shaft Seal ] Input Shaft Seal

3 Clutch Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing

• The clutch slave cylinder and release bearing are one unit and can only be replaced together.

• Do not wash-out bearing, only wipe off

• If bearing is noisy, replace together with slave cylinder

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing ] Service and Repair

4 Bolt

• 12 Nm for the metal clutch slave cylinder

• 15 Nm for the plastic clutch slave cylinder

• Replace

• Quantity: 3

• Tighten carefully in steps so that the tabs on the clutch slave cylinder do not break off

5 O-ring

• Replace if damaged

• Pull onto line connection

• Install with brake fluid
