Seal between Bevel Box and Manual Transmission

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pulling Hook (T20143)

• Thrust Piece (T10298)

- Pry out the seal using (T20143/1) or (T20143/2).






- Fill the space between the sealing lip and dust lip - arrow - half way with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).






- Lightly oil the new seal on the outer circumference.

- Install the seal all the way.






- Check axle oil in the bevel box. Refer to => [ Axle Oil in Bevel Box, Checking or Filling ] Procedures.

- Check transmission fluid level inside the manual transmission. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid, Checking ] Service and Repair.
