ROOF LATCH MOTOR : Removal and Installation


REMOVAL


CAUTION:
Protect the rear fender with a fender protector.
NOTE:
Operate roof manually if it does not operate electrically. Refer to "Manual Operation" Procedures.
1.Remove roof lock assembly. Refer to "ROOF LOCK ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installation" Removal and Installation.
2.Remove retaining plate, and then remove roof latch motor shaft.
3.Disconnect roof latch motor harness connector.
4.Remove mounting bolt, and then remove roof latch motor.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- Perform initialization according to the work after installing roof latch motor. Refer to "Description" Description.
- Adjust door glass and quarter window glass. Refer to "Inspection and Adjustment" Procedures.
- Perform water leakage test. Refer to "Water Leakage Test" Water Leakage Test.
