Ventilation vents passenger compartment, replacing

As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Outer vents dashboard, replacing

Removing the outer vents from the dashboard




Remove the cover on the side of the dashboard.
Remove the catches from underneath and from the sides. Use a small screwdriver. At the same time press out the vent using a weatherstrip tool.
Press out the lower edge. Then detach the remainder.

Installing the outer vents in the dashboard
Press the vent into place.

Note! Ensure that the vent is correctly connected to the air duct and all the catches have engaged

Check the function.
Install the cover on the side of the dashboard.

Center vent and valve housing on the dashboard, replacing

Removing the center vent and valve housing from the dashboard




Position a weatherstrip tool on the short side of the vent.
Release the catches closest to the weatherstrip tool using a small screwdriver. At the same time pry out the vent.

Note! Do not break off the small catches.

Disconnect the connector for the switch for the hazard warning signal flasher.

Installing the center vent and valve housing in the dashboard
Connect the connector to the switch for the hazard warning flashers.
Press the vent and valve housing into place.

Note! Ensure that the vent is correctly connected to the air duct and all the catches have engaged.

Check the function.

Vents B and C-post, replacing

Remove and install the vents. See Panel B-post, replacing Panel, B-Post, Replacing and Panel C-post, replacing Panel, C-Post, Replacing.
