Panel B-post, replacing

Removing the B-post panel
Move the seat as far forward as possible. Fold the backrest forward.
Remove:
- the door weather strip
- the end mounting. See End mounting, replacing End Mounting, Replacing
- the panel. See Sill trim panel, replacing Removal and Replacement.
Pull the lower part of the B-post panel inwards into the car.
Pull straight downwards. Press the steel clips outwards on both sides. Release the insert at the top.
Lift upwards so that the panel releases from the air duct.
Remove the seat belt cover.
Thread the seat belt through the panel.
Installing the B-post panel
Thread the seat belt through the panel.
Install the seat belt cover.
Press the panel into place against the lower section of the air duct.
Insert the insert at the top.
Press the panel into place.
Install:
- the steel clips at the top on both sides
- the end mounting. See End mounting, replacing End Mounting, Replacing
- the panel. See Sill trim panel, replacing Removal and Replacement
- the door weather strip.
Check the function of the seat belt. See Seat belt function, check Testing and Inspection.
