Installation

Note! This step is only necessary if adjustment is required

Perform valve clearance Refer to: Valve clearance, B5254T7 Adjustments





Note! Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.

Use: Engine oil,









Caution! Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Use: Gasket solution, 1161847

Torque: M7, 17 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Install the following items:
- camshaft seal Refer to: Camshaft seal, B5254T7 Service and Repair
- VVT unit Refer to: VVT unit, B5254T7 Service and Repair
- timing belt Refer to: Timing belt, B5254T7 Service and Repair
- spark plugs Refer to: Spark plugs, B5254T7 Service and Repair
- ignition coil Refer to: Ignition coil, B5254T7 Service and Repair
