Removal

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the following items:
- bevel gear Bevel Gear
- Accessory Drive Component Bracket. Service and Repair









Remove the following items:
- Engine support insulator left. Refer to: Engine support insulator left, B6304T2 Engine Support Insulator Left
- Front subframe. Refer to: Front subframe Front Subframe
- Driveshaft left. Refer to: Driveshaft left, B6304T2, TF-80SC AWD Driveshaft Left
- Drive shaft right. Refer to: Drive shaft right Driveshaft Right








Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm








Torque: M12, 80 Nm





Remove the following items:
1. Torque: M10, 50 Nm

2. Torque: M8, 24 Nm









Caution! Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

Remove the following items:
1. Torque: M8, 24 Nm

2. Torque: M10, 50 Nm

3. Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Remove the following items:
- starter motor Refer to: Starter motor, B6304T2 Service and Repair
- Crankshaft front seal Refer to: Crankshaft front seal, B6304T2 Service and Repair




999 7257 Wrench 999 7257 Wrench
Torque: Torque converter to flexplate (screw), 60 Nm




999 5972 FIXTURE 999 5972 Fixture




Torque: M10, 50 Nm









Note! This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
