Receiver AM/FM (ATM), replacing

Removal

Preparatory work




Remove the aerial mounting and the aerial. See Antenna with antenna mounting (ATM), replacing Antenna with Antenna Mounting (ATM), Replacing.

Removing the AM/FM receiver





Caution! The connector for the antenna cover is fragile. Be careful when removing/installing.

Remove:
- the connectors
- the screws
- the AM/FM receiver
- the GPS receiver if applicable. See Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair and TMC see Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair.

Installation

Installing the AM/FM receiver
- Install the GPS receiver if applicable, see Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair and TMC see Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair.
- Align the AM/FM receiver
- Install and tighten the screws
Caution! The connector for the antenna cover is fragile. Be careful when removing/installing.

Connect the connectors.

Finishing work
Install the aerial mounting and the aerial. See Antenna with antenna mounting (ATM), replacing Antenna with Antenna Mounting (ATM), Replacing.

Ordering software

Note! After replacing the AM/FM (ATM) receiver, new software must be ordered and programmed.

Test the function.
