Fuel Door Latch: Service and Repair

This method consists of:
- replacing
- emergency opening.

Electric motor fuel tank filler cover, replacing

Removing electric motor




Open the fuel tank filler cover.

Remove:
- the side panel in the cargo compartment as described in Side panel loadspace Side Panel Loadspace
- the 2 screws
- the connector.

Install the electric motor

Install:
- the connector
- the 2 screws. Tighten
- the side panel in the cargo compartment. See: Side panel loadspace Side Panel Loadspace.

Fuel tank filler cover, emergency opening

Remove the side panel in cargo compartment. See: Side panel loadspace Side Panel Loadspace.
Move the lock mechanism backwards.
