Removal and Replacement

Breather Assembly

Removing/installing the hose/line assembly or pipe - 4 - from/to the breather assembly - 1 -.





- To remove, pull out the clip - 2 - with a screwdriver or a pointed tool and pull out the hose/line assembly or pipe - 4 - from the breather assembly - 1 -.

- To install, press the hose/line assembly or pipe with a new O-ring - 3 - into the breather assembly, until the clip audibly engages.

- Pull on the hose/line or pipe to make sure it is secure.

Removing/installing the breather assembly - 4 - from/to the clutch slave cylinder.





- To remove, pull out the clip - 2 - with a screwdriver or a pointed tool and remove the breather assembly - 4 - from the clutch slave cylinder - 1 -.

- Check the O-ring - 3 - on the clutch slave cylinder. Press on the breather assembly to the clutch slave cylinder connection until the clip - 2 - engages audibly.

- To check, pull on the breather assembly.

- Bleed the hydraulic system. Refer to => [ Hydraulic System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
