Overhaul

Evaporator Housing

- Remove the evaporator housing from the heater and A/C unit. Refer to => [ Heater and A/C Unit Overview ] Heater and A/C Unit Overview.

- Disconnect the connectors from the heater and A/C unit.






1 Screws

• Tightening specification 1.5 Nm

2 Upper Section of Evaporator Housing

3 Screws

• Tightening specification 5 Nm

• Quantity: 2

4 Threaded Plate

• To the threaded connectors for the refrigerant lines on the evaporator

5 Expansion Valve

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Expansion Valve ] Expansion Valve.

6 Seal / Insulation

• Heat insulation for expansion valve

7 Lower Section Of Evaporator Housing

8 Evaporator

• Check insulation, it must be completely present.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Evaporator ] Service and Repair.
