Fan Shroud and Fans

Tensioning Strap (T10038)

Removing

- Remove the engine cover with air filter. Refer to => [ Engine Cover with Air Filter ] Engine Cover With Air Filter.

- Remove the upper bolts - upper arrows - for the fan shroud.






- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove the pendulum support bolts - 2 and 3 -.






- Pull the engine toward the rear approximately 15 mm using the tensioning strap (T10038).






- Disconnect the connector - 1 - and remove the lower fan shroud bolts - lower arrows -.






- Remove the fan shroud downward.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 - and free up the wires, if required.






- Remove the nuts - arrows - and remove the fan(s), if required.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Cooling System Components Overview, Body Side ] Cooling System Components Overview, Body Side.

- Install the pendulum support. Refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Engine Assembly - Fastener Tightening Specifications.
