Right Flange Shaft Needle Bearing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Plate (VW 401)

• Thrust Plate (VW 402)

• Punch (VW 407)

• Thrust Disc (VW 412)

• Wheel Bearing Assembly Set (3253)

• Assembly Tool (T10047)

Removing

- Remove the right flange shaft. Refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft, AWD ] Right Flange Shaft, AWD.

- Install the assembly tool (T10047) so that the marks "B" on both parts face each other.






• The depressions - arrows - must be under the bearing.

- Bolt the parts together.

- Remove the bearing lock ring - A -.






- Turn the shaft - arrows - while removing. This way the bearing running surface on the shaft will not get damaged.






Installing

- Secure the bearing with a new lock ring.

- Install the right flange shaft. Refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft, AWD ] Right Flange Shaft, AWD.
