Glove Compartment

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the side instrument panel cover on the front passenger side. Refer to => [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] Side Instrument Panel Covers.

- Remove the front passenger footwell cover. Refer to => [ Footwell Covers ] Footwell Covers.

- If present in the glove compartment, remove the information electronics control module 1 (J794).

- Remove the glove compartment lamp (W6) with the glove compartment lamp switch (E26).

- Open the glove compartment and remove the 6 bolts - arrows - (1.5 Nm).

- Detach the glove compartment from the instrument panel.

- If present, unclip the external audio source connection (R199).

- In vehicles with glove compartment cooling, remove the A/C channel from the glove compartment.






Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
