1 Intake Manifold Support

2 Bolt

• 20 Nm

3 Bolt

• 10 Nm

4 Gasket

• Replace

• Ensure it is correctly seated in the intake manifold.

5 Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

• With the throttle drive (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G186), throttle drive angle sensor 1 (for EPC) (G187) and throttle drive angle sensor 2 (for EPC) (G188).

• When replacing, adapt the Engine Control Module to the throttle valve control module. Refer to "Guided Functions" in the vehicle diagnostic tester.

6 Bolt

• 7 Nm

7 Gasket

• Replace

• Ensure it is correctly seated in the intake manifold.

8 Connection

• For the crankcase ventilation.

• With the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) heating element (N79).

• From the cylinder head cover.

9 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm

10 Upper Intake Manifold

• with the vacuum actuator and intake manifold flap.

• Intake manifold flap vacuum actuator, checking. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold Flap Vacuum Actuator, Checking ] Intake Manifold Flap Vacuum Actuator, Checking.

• With vacuum reservoir installed. For information on checking, refer to => [ Vacuum Reservoir in Intake Manifold, Checking for Leaks ] Vacuum Reservoir in Intake Manifold, Checking for Leaks.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Upper Intake Manifold ] Upper Intake Manifold.

11 Bolt

• 10 Nm

12 Vacuum Line

13 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve (N316)

14 Fuel Rail

• For cylinders 2, 4 and 6.

• Always replace the fuel injector spring elements before installing.

• Tighten the bolts uniformly, starting from the inside working toward the outside.

• Fuel rail, injectors and high pressure pump overview. Refer to => [ Fuel Rail, Injectors and High Pressure Pump Overview ] Fuel Rail, Injectors and High Pressure Pump Overview.

15 Bolt

• 30 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

• Replace

• Tighten the bolts uniformly, starting from the inside working toward the outside.

16 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm

17 Mounting Plate

• For the coolant hoses.

18 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm

19 Coolant Line

20 Bolt

• 8 Nm

• Quantity: 4

21 Lower Intake Manifold

22 Gasket

• Lubricate lightly with engine oil before installing and insert it into the upper intake manifold.

23 Gasket

• Make sure it fits securely inside the lower intake manifold.
