Tail Lamp Bulb, Side Panel







Tail Lamp Bulb, Side Panel

The following illustrations show the removing and installing of the left tail lamp bulb (M4) inside the tail lamp in the side panel on the left side. Removing and installing the right tail lamp bulb (M2) inside the tail lamp in the side panel on the right side is identical.

The tail lamp in the side panel contains two single-filament bulbs that function as both the brake and tail lamps, depending on activation.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove tail lamp assembly in side panel. Refer to => [ Tail Lamps, Side Panel ] Tail Lamps, Side Panel.

- Push the tail lamp retaining tabs in - direction of arrow - and remove the bulb holder - 1 - from the tail lamp.






- Press each tail lamp bulb - 1 - into the socket slightly, turn it in - direction of arrow - and remove it.






Tail lamp bulb: 12V, 21 W

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

When installing the bulb holder, make sure that all three retaining tabs are securely locked into the housing.
