Rear Window Wiper Motor

CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting the battery, the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair Information. Refer to --> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] .

Removing

- Remove the rear window wiper arm. Refer to --> [ Rear Window Wiper Arm ] Rear Window Wiper Arm.

- Disconnect the battery. Refer to --> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] .

- Remove lower rear lid trim.

- Disengage and disconnect harness connector - 3 -.





- Release the hose connection - 2 - by raising the circlip and pulling the hose from the connection on the Rear Window Wiper Motor (V12) - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - arrows -.

- Carefully pull off Rear Window Wiper Motor (V12) from rear lid.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Before installing the Rear Window Wiper Motor (V12), coat the inner side of the seal in the rear window with rubber- and plastic-compatible lubricant (e.g. polyethylene glycol).

- Check seal for correct fitting in rear window opening.

Marking - 1 - of seal must align with marking - 2 - on rear window.





- Connect the battery. Refer to --> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] .
