Windshield and Headlamp Washer Fluid Reservoir






Windshield and Headlamp Washer Fluid Reservoir

CAUTION!
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Remove filler tube for tank for windshield washer system and headlamp washer system. Refer to --> [ Windshield and Headlamp Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Tube ] Windshield and Headlamp Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Tube.

- Remove front bumper cover.

To avoid interchanging the washer fluid line connections on the Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump (V59), the connections on the pump and hose lines are color-coded. Hose connector pieces must be connected to the corresponding colored pump connections during installation.

- To release, twist the securing clips at the hose connections - 3 - and - 5 - and disconnect them from the Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump (V59) - 4 -.





- Save the drained washer fluid in a suitable container.

- Disconnect harness connector - 6 - from Windshield Washer Fluid Level Sensor (G33) - 7 -.

- Remove Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump (V59) - 4 - upward out of tank and disconnect harness connector - 2 -.

- Pull Headlamp Washer Pump (V11) - 9 - upward out of tank and disconnect harness connector - 10 -.

- Remove mounting bolts - arrows - and remove tank from vehicle.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Tighten all fasteners according to value in table. Refer to --> [ Windshield Washer System Tightening Specifications ] [1][2]Specifications.

- Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work. Refer to --> [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
