1 Securing Strap

• For fuel tank --> [ 10 Securing Strap ] Fuel Tank Assembly Overview

2 Suspended Mount

• Replace if damaged

3 23 Nm

• Replace

4 Retaining Loop

• Replace if damaged

5 Front Muffler

• Originally a unit with rear muffler

• For repairs, replace each separately

• Refer to --> [ Front and Rear Mufflers, Separating and Connecting ] Front and Rear Mufflers, Separating and Connecting.

• Refer to --> [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Exhaust System, Installing.

• Refer to --> [ Exhaust System, Checking for Leaks ] Testing and Inspection.

6 23 Nm

7 Suspended Mount

• Replace if damaged

8 Rear Muffler

• Originally as a unit with front muffler

• For repairs, replace each separately

• Refer to --> [ Front and Rear Mufflers, Separating and Connecting ] Front and Rear Mufflers, Separating and Connecting.

• Align exhaust system free of stress --> [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Exhaust System, Installing.

• Exhaust System, Checking for Leaks --> [ Exhaust System, Checking for Leaks ] Testing and Inspection.

10 Repair Clamping Sleeve

• For individual replacement of front and rear mufflers

• Note installation position --> [ Repair Clamping Sleeve Installation Position ]

• Refer to --> [ Front and Rear Mufflers, Separating and Connecting ] Front and Rear Mufflers, Separating and Connecting.

• Refer to --> [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Exhaust System, Installing.

• Tighten bolts evenly

11 Tunnel Bridge

Repair Clamping Sleeve Installation Position





- When installing clamping sleeve, ensure that the bolt end - arrow - does not project beyond the lower edge of clamping sleeve:

• Threaded connection points toward the right.

• Tighten threaded connections equally to 23 Nm.
