BRAKE: BRAKE PEDAL: REMOVAL

NOTICE:
Release the vacuum from the booster by depressing the brake pedal several times. Then remove the brake master cylinder from the brake booster.

1. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

Removal (from 12/2010)

3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal

4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal

5. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER Removal (from 12/2010)

8. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal (from 12/2010)

10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE Removal (from 12/2010)

11. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal (from 12/2010)

12. DISCONNECT VACUUM HOSE Removal (from 12/2010)

13. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING Removal (from 12/2010)

14. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN Removal (from 12/2010)

15. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY Removal (from 12/2010)

16. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET Removal (from 12/2010)

17. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

18. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Leveling) Removal

19. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the stop light switch connector and wire harness clamp.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and brake pedal support sub-assembly.
