DTC Confirmation Procedure

WARNING:
^ When performing a road test, select a place where there is no traffic or possibility of a traffic accident and be very careful during testing to avoid occurrence of an accident.
^ Road test should be carried out with 2 persons, a driver and a tester, on a level road.


NOTE:
^ If DTC other than aimed DTC are previously detected in DTC confirmation procedure, be sure to troubleshoot DTC previously detected.
^ Check that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10.5 V

1) Drive vehicle more than 50 km/h (31 mile/h) for 40 sec.
2) Stop vehicle and turn ignition switch to OFF position.
3) Repeat Step 1) through 2) twice.
4) Turn ignition switch to ON position.

^ Check that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- CVT fluid temperature at engine start ≥ -20 °C (-4 °F)

1) Drive at 30 - 50 km/h (19 mile/h - 31 mile/h) constantly for 40 sec. or more at "D" range. (Keep throttle valve opening constantly in this step).
2) Stop vehicle and turn ignition switch to OFF position.
3) Repeat Step 1) through 2) twice.
4) Turn ignition switch to ON position.
